Looking for an update? Our teams have them!

Looking for an update? Our teams have them!

From the Content Team…

We’ve been hearing lots of chatter around Autodesk Construction Cloud. Customers are letting us know they use it and have been asking about it. So, it’s top of mind for many of us right now – especially the Content Team. And they’re moving right along with the updates for it. They feel they’ll have enough lessons for a soft release, potentially, by AU. So, stay tuned!

The team has also been working on a board that will serve as a roadmap for visibility across teams. The new board will show everyone what is coming, what is in progress, and what has been put on the backburner.

From the Dev Team…s

The Dev Team has been working on certificates, which will give users something to print out after completing goals. Having something to hold or hang up to show off your accomplishments helps with employee growth.

They’re also continuing to develop dark and light themes for the portal. Users will be able to switch to the theme of their choice. So say goodbye to that building now.

Expect some other important updates on this sprint soon!

Once again, our teams have stepped up and are putting in lots of hard work!

Does your email client fully support exchange?

A September update from Microsoft revealed they will resume the retirement of Basic Authentication for legacy protocols. Meaning, any email client that doesn’t fully support Exchange won’t work.

Today, we are announcing that we are restarting the program to end the use of Basic Auth in Exchange Online. Beginning October 1, 2022, we will begin to disable Basic Auth in all tenants, regardless of usage.

If you aren’t already, please use one of the supported email clients listed below.

  • Outlook (all versions, iOS, android, windows, web, Mac)
  • Windows mail
  • Apple mail (iOS and macOS)
  • Google mail app on android.

Autodesk Reveals Brand Update

Autodesk Reveals Brand Update

Earlier this month, Autodesk introduced a new look and feel for their brand, including a new logo, colors, and imagery.

“This change is the first of several bold moves we’re making as a company to reimagine the Autodesk brand – one that underscores our belief that a better world can be designed and made for all,” remarked Fred Saunders, Vice President of Brand and Social Impact at Autodesk.

The new logo is a simplified version of its predecessor. And their new imagery features abstract 3D geometric forms created by focusing on parts of the symbol in the new logo.

Plus, the Autodesk blue that we’ve seen for years has been updated to black and white. Alongside those primary colors, two detail grays and four accent colors – clay, plant, iris, and gold – have been added to their color palette.

“We’re looking forward to sharing additional elements of our reimagined brand in the future. This will include new product identities and icons that will help to visually differentiate our range of products across industries and make our icons more easily distinguishable,” Saunders continued.

Huge project alert: The AutoCAD Guide!

Huge project alert: The AutoCAD Guide!

Wait till you see what our teams have been working on for Autodesk.

After seeing a nearly 200% increase in conversions compared to the previous experience, Autodesk liked our original guides so much, they asked us to do it again!

This time, we are offering one, slimmed down version with far less content and a sleeker aesthetic. Like before, the guide will be translated into 13 languages.

Autodesk will leverage the final guides in their 30-day trial experience for users. There is a marketing window that perpetuates throughout the 30 days, and the guides will be included in this. AutoCAD users will also have access to a CADLearning trial in their localized location.

The guides include 57 videos. Chris worked on getting the videos translated, Luis worked on design, and Autodesk already approved the English version. Haley, David Cohn, and Susan worked on the marketing copy to go alongside the videos.

The translation process looks a little bit like this:

After the English version is approved, Luis extracts all the guide text and puts it in an excel document, line by line. Then we send it off to a translation company, they send it back, and Luis copies it back to the guide.

To translate the videos, Chris pulls the translations from KAMS via our neural translations. The subtitles are then rendered into the video.

Carlie is leading the project and is the line of communication from us to Autodesk. She makes sure the requests they have get put into the guide and that all trains are running on time.

Take a peek at the English version of the  guide and let us know what you think in the comments! The guide is interactive and will help both rookie and veteran AutoCAD users alike.

Introducing TPM1!

Introducing TPM1!

With 20+ partners in our channel, we spend a lot of time managing, coaching, and creating assets to ensure their success. So, we thought it would be interesting to introduce some of these partners to the rest of the team.

One of our recent success stories is TPM – The Print Machine – who is headquartered in Greenville, SC (not far from our Asheville office). Although we have been partners for years, and always knew they had great potential, it didn’t take off quite as quickly as we would’ve liked.

But, earlier this year, we were approached by Mike Staples, their Director of Technical Solutions, who was looking to add greater value to their support offerings. We suggested our Portal Management Program, which offers low per-user cost to increase their attach rate and add plenty of revenue potential in exchange for a revenue commitment.

They loved the idea and decided to use our platform as the backbone of a service bundle that includes value-adds like premium support, scanning services, printing vouchers, and more. They are also our first partner to bundle in the Bluebeam library along with each CADLearning purchase.

For the first three months, our team worked with theirs to help them master the product, overcome objections, improve positioning, and set their customers up for success.

Officially launched in July, in just two months, TPM has already doubled their revenue compared to last year, and they are projecting continued growth.

But don’t just take our word for it. In the press release, Mike Staples said, “Making our Customers Truly Successful is our top Success Principal at TPM. Our new TPM1 Premier Program goes a long way in supporting this effort. It is one thing to use industry-leading design solutions. However, it is a real game-changer to leverage those solutions and your employees to their full potential. We created the TPM1 Premier Program to provide the tools and resources required for companies to raise the bar of their entire design team so they can focus on innovation and growth.”

There is so much more to come from our partnership with TPM, and this is a great start to more opportunities!
