Interactive Demos with Consensus

If you haven’t already heard, we’ve invested in a new tool to help us deliver a better presales experience. It’s called Consensus.

Consensus lets us transform our live demos into an interactive experience potential buyers can access anytime, making it easier for our champions to self-educate and promote us internally. Plus, it personalizes demos to them and their pace to build trust and speed up decisions.

On top of all that, we’ll know who’s viewing our demos, what they select as priorities, how they engage, how to reach them, and who they bring in. So, we’ll have the data to know exactly what’s working and what’s not.

With guided, personalized digital demo experiences powered by Consensus, we look forward to seeing the team close more deals more often.

2022 Initiatives Director Check In

It’s been three weeks since the company update. So, we wanted to check in and look at the progress we have made on the initiatives we set out.

1. Full Transparency

There has been remarkable progress made toward this goal. For the first time, we can all look at the initiatives in development, content, and marketing and see, at a glance, how they are all aligned. Blockers make it obvious how pushed deadlines affect others, and early visibility helps us plan better.

We know that it hasn’t been an easy transition, but it is already paying early dividends that we are quite confident will only continue to grow. As we launch our initial sprints, thank you to everybody who has already made the JIRA leap and for putting so much time and attention into the effort.

2. Operation Outcome

We have a really cool POC in progress! David and Matt are working on a Generative Design project that will include the full high-level teaser, how-to, and detailed video workflow.

Meanwhile, the development team is adding high-level video functionality to the platform. This will allow us, our customers, and our partners to layer in best practices and proprietary techniques. Partners like US CAD and TPM, who we have told about this addition, are super excited.

3. Dominate Competition

Project Parity is on its way with the beginning of content creation. The marketing team is also preparing with teasers scheduled for an April release.

The next sprint is going to have so much competitive advantage that we are going to wait on a whole new blog post to get into all of it. But prepare to be excited!

4. Grow Sales

Partners are super motivated by the new pricing offer. We are really getting some good activity. We are also very excited to have a brand-new team member starting mid-March who will be working on lead generation and managing the initial parts of the sales cycle. More on that soon!

We all think it has been a great three weeks and love that we are starting to see the urgency, intensity, and accountability we asked for. Thanks for everything and keep it up!

Matt, Jamie, and Carlie

Publishing Update 3/4/22

Hello everyone and happy Friday!

Good news! The 2022 update for Vault is complete! 35 lessons (totaling 2 hours and 40 minutes) of either new or updated content is ready to be made active in Portal
We’re changing up the process a little bit, so the 2022 product isn’t active in Portal just yet as we wait for the Sales and Marketing team to do their thing to announce the product launch.
Next up in the pipe is the 2022 update for Plant 3D and Fusion 360.  The writing team has already begun their work on those, so those trains are moving!
As always, the complete list of published lessons can be found here: Calendar 2022 Published Lessons.xlsx
There’s plenty in the pipe, so stay tuned for the next update. Have a great weekend!

A Fond Farewell to Ash

Today is Ash’s last official day with 4D, so we’re taking a moment to celebrate her hard work and wish her a fond farewell. While we’re sad to see Ash go, we’re excited to see where the next step in her journey takes her.

Ash is off to join the team at Cloud Sangha, where she’ll pursue her passion for mindfulness meditation, consciousness, and mental health. As the growing startup’s Operations & Support Specialist she’ll be a key point of contact for their members and teachers. And as one of their first team members, she’ll help lay the foundation of their company and culture.

Ash – Thank you for your creative spirit, your willingness to take on any new challenge, and your dedication to helping us all do and be our best. Please don’t be a stranger!
