CADLearning just got even better with the rollout of an update and a couple of bug fixes.
Here’s what’s new in the latest release:
- When adding a lesson to a badge within a Role, available lessons are now filtered by version in the dropdown.
- Fixed a bug that allowed users to play lessons from their current goal without a subscription.
- Fixed a bug with auto-play that caused an application error when playing the last lesson in a topic.
What’s coming up?
We hope to roll out new Revit Roles and Goals within the next week, so stay tuned!

“Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.” – Oprah Winfrey
That’s a wrap! We’ve finished all our 2022 planning sessions, so let’s recap the second half.
Ensuring Assuring PnP
In one of the first breakouts of day three, the Content Team gathered to review documentation relevance, production best practices, and managing exercise files.
Sales 2021 Bootcamp
In the other of the first breakouts of the day, the Sales and Customer Success Teams gathered for Sales Bootcamp. They took a look at the activity during the past year, what we have to do better in the next year, and how we’re going to get there.
In the second breakout of day three, we discussed the execution lessons learned last year, our hand-off processes between teams, setting and meeting milestones, as well as our goals and expectations for 2022.
Marketing and Social Media
As day three drew to a close, we took a look at where we want to take our marketing and social media efforts in the coming year. The bottom line: “We’re the best in the industry. More people need to know it. So, we’ve got to be louder!” Then we brainstormed ways to make that happen with our websites, ads, videos, emails, social media, and even more great content.
State of the Company
First up on our fourth and final day, Dave and the Directors painted the picture of where the company stands today. We took a look at how we’ve grown and what opportunities are on the horizon for us.
Refining Customer Assets
In the second breakout of the fourth day, we took a look at some of our current customer assets and brainstormed ways to refine and update them. Then we discussed strategies to increase their usage and ways to increase touchpoints with customers.
As we wrapped up the final day, we took a look at our company culture now that we’re fully office-less. And we brainstormed ways to deepen relationships, build trust, and enhance communication. Starting interest-based office clubs garnered unanimous support from the team. So, stay tuned for more information as we work out the logistics of implementing those!
Then we took a little time to relax, enjoy our camaraderie, and just have fun with Teams. 😊
How did you feel about this year’s format? What worked? What didn’t? Let us know in the comments.
We use Bitwarden for secure password management and sharing secure information across teams and the organization. Proper password management is an important part of our security strategy and we’re happy that together we can practice secure password habits.
We can now share password management to you and your family. Through our Bitwarden enterprise subscription, every employee connected to our Bitwarden instance can redeem a complimentary Bitwarden families plan using a personal email address and invite five additional family members to join. Every user on the families plan will have access to secure password sharing and premium features, such as advanced two-step login, emergency access, encrypted file attachments, and more.
We hope that every employee will take advantage of this opportunity to protect themselves and their families.. Internet and password security is important both in the office and at home, and staying secure across our personal and work lives is a shared responsibility.
To redeem the free families plan, log in to the Bitwarden web vault and follow the instructions on-screen. A walkthrough from Bitwarden is available here.
Time sure has flown, hasn’t it? We just started our series of planning meetings for 2022 and now we’re already halfway through! So, let’s recap what we’ve covered so far.
Execution Planning Kickoff
Dave and the Directors kicked it all off with a brief walk down memory lane – reviewing last year’s goals and what we achieved. Then, they set the stage for our planning efforts with their vision for the coming year.
Tech Show and Tell: The Tree of Knowledge
Then in our first breakout, Jamie took us on a tour of our technology capabilities and what’s currently being developed. And he showed us how we’ll be able to provide full product knowledge assessments through the use of dependencies.
CaaS/XaaS Expansion Plans
As day one drew to a close, we explored expanding from delivering content as a service to delivering just about anything as a service. We set a goal of getting 5 times as many of these consultancy bookings in the coming year. And then we brainstormed ways to better demonstrate our capabilities to current and future customers.
We hit the ground running on day two, discussing improvements, next steps, and the roadmap for support in the coming year. Then, we brainstormed how to ease the workload of support. Ideas included better user error messages, Helpbot improvements, and a better support page. Then we took a look at cleaning up our documentation to make it easier for anyone fulfilling support duties.
In the next breakout, Carlie and Kelly gave us an overview of our customer success goals for 2022 including delighting customers with QBRs, providing more touchpoints less intrusively, being their go-to, and solving their problems. Then we brainstormed customer tier levels and what services could be included with each.
KAMS to Portal: It’s All Connected
And in the last session of day two, Kelly walked us through how customers build courses and assessments. She also covered how the things we change in KAMS can impact customers to show everyone how it’s all connected.
Stay tuned for Part 2 of the recap next week!
Plan your work, then work your plan…
Our series of annual planning meetings for 2022 kicked off yesterday and is continuing tomorrow afternoon. The final two sessions will be held next week on Wednesday and Friday.
As a reminder, each meeting will begin with a 30-minute informal discussion. Then, 45-minute breakout sessions will follow with 15 minutes of reflection time in between sessions.
“As directors, we can set the vision and direction. But as a team, we need to execute that vision with real tactical plans,” Matt said. And those action plans are exactly what we’ll develop over the course of these meetings.
Work hard, play harder…
